Because You And I Shall Meet

Because you and I shall meet
the sky is full of light,
because you and I shall meet
the green earth is in delight.
Because you and I shall meet
the night, world in her lap, stays awake,
dawn arrives to open the door on the eastern sky,
full with the music of bird's songs.

In this eternal current a boat floats
hoping for union,
flowers of many ages fill the basket of welcome
and overflow.
Because you and I shall meet,
my heart moves in readiness
in a bride's dress,
forever looking for my suitor.
